Jay Greenberg
principal, Acquisitions

Utilizing the institutional experience gained from larger New York City-based real estate firms, Jay formed what is now known as Z+G Property Group in 2014 to own, operate and manage multi-family and mixed-use properties in the New York City area. The company has acquired over $500 million worth of multi-family and self-storage properties all within NYC and Charleston, SC. His philosophy of using relationships to source off‐market or quietly marketed assets and value-add strategies to deliver above average returns is paramount to every transaction.

Prior to forming Z+G Property Group, Jay was a key member of Stonehenge Partners’ acquisition team which during his tenure purchased 11 multi‐family and mixed use properties in New York City totaling over $500 million. Stonehenge Partners is a leading private real estate company that owns and manages a portfolio of properties in Manhattan valued at over $2 billion. Jay received his Masters of Science in Real Estate, with a concentration in Finance, from New York University as well as a Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland. He currently lives in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn with his wife and three children.

david cohen
principal, management

David co-founded Judith Drive Management applying meticulous attention to the development and management of high character properties. His strategic acumen in property repositioning has earned the Company a reputation for excellence. His dedication to crafting spaces that resonate with quality and character has been pivotal in establishing Judith Drive’s esteemed portfolio beyond real estate. David’s previous experience working in the hedge fund industry and business endeavors in hospitality showcase his diverse capabilities. Prior to his current focus, David spent ten years within the hedge fund community, most recently as head of trading for a Connecticut-based multi-strategy fund. In 2014, David’s sole focus became his entrepreneurial ventures.

David’s other ventures include Pouring Ribbons, an industry-leading cocktail lounge in the East Village of Manhattan, where David was an original investor and was responsible for venue buildout. David’s structured approach and demonstrated ability to get projects off the ground stems from his family business in millwork manufacturing, which dates back to 1955. David loves to travel and is an encyclopedia of knowledge on the global dining scene. He lives with his wife and son in Brooklyn.

jackie alvira
director of asset management

Jackie joined Z+G Property Group as a Director of Asset Management and Acquisitions in July 2022. Her responsibilities include managing and executing the business plans for the company’s two CZG portfolios, comprising six properties totaling over 325 units. She is also a key member of the acquisitions team, working on evaluating new multifamily opportunities and leading the acquisitions process from due diligence through closing. Before this role, Jackie was a member of the acquisitions team and a development project manager at Toll Brothers City Living. Toll Brothers City Living is the condominium development division of Toll Brothers, Inc. Jackie began her real estate career as an investor relations associate at Angelo, Gordon, a private equity real estate firm that invests globally across a broad range of product types. 

Jackie received her MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Real Estate, and a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University.

conor hussey
vice president, acquisitions

Previously, Conor was Head of Acquisitions & Asset Management at Avente Capital Management, overseeing all investments across the deal cycle, from sourcing to renovation to disposition. He completed over $100 million of real estate acquisitions and dispositions across New York City and the Sun Belt region. Before ACM, he spent three years at WeWork, where he most recently worked on the disposition of the historic Lord & Taylor Building to Amazon for $1.15 billion and spearheaded the reduction of the portfolio’s square footage and gross lease obligations in the California region. His prior work experience includes stints at Highpoint Property Group, a local NYC developer, and a publicly traded commercial real estate brokerage firm with their Brooklyn investment sales team.

Conor received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland.


aaron kooris
acquisitions, southeast

Aaron Kooris joined the Z+G Property Group in 2020 tasked with scaling and managing the Southeast multi-family portfolio. Since joining, Aaron has been integral in capitalizing approximately $25M of new acquisitions in South Carolina. Aaron is responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions, due diligence, business plan creation, and asset management activities. Prior to Z+G, Aaron worked as an analyst for Blaze Partners, a multi-family investment firm focused on owning and operating institutional rental housing communities throughout the United States with a specific focus on the Southeast. While at Blaze Partners, Aaron was involved in all aspects of the investment process, including deal and capital sourcing, underwriting, and due diligence. Additionally, Aaron assisted with asset management activities of their 2,200 unit portfolio, including equity and lender reporting.

Aaron graduated from University of South Carolina with a finance degree and currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina.
